1. Composite Bondings & Insurance

Due to concerns about the possible adverse effects on health as well as environmental protection, Dr. Goldberg does not do amalgam (silver) fillings. All fillings are done in white composite material. It is important to know that most insurance companies will pay their percentage based on the cost of the less expensive silver filling on posterior teeth. If you would like to know what your expected coverage will be, we will be happy to submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance.

2. A Word About Dental Insurance

We are contracted providers of BCBS Dental Blue, Altus Dental and Delta Dental Premier. Members of other insurance plans are very welcome and we will file insurance claims on your behalf as an out-of-network provider.

As a courtesy we will prepare and send all of the necessary forms to your insurance on your behalf. However, we remind you that your policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, not between your insurance company and our office. We can make no guarantee of any estimated coverage, but we’ll do our best to see that you receive your maximum benefits. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. If you would like to know what your expected coverage will be, we will submit a pre-treatment estimate. Your insurer will generally send a detailed response within 4-6 weeks.

3. Information on Financial Arrangements

Payment is expected at the time services are performed. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. When extensive dental care is necessary please inquire about our financing plans which include 12 month interest free options though Wells Fargo and Care Credit.
